What is success to you?
Does success means a good looking girl friend, a rich husband, a branded sport-car, a mansion, lots of levis jeans, branded clothings ?

True success in life is when one is able to affect others positively in life.

One advice for those reading my blog-

"You won't get any credits in life for being busy"

How to treat a Man?
"Treat the man as he appears to be and you make him worse. But treat a man as if he already were what he potentially could be, and you make him what he should be." - Goethe

Today post is titled: All About Quotes

What are quotes? According to the Webster Dictionary, "Quote is to cite in illustration".

Let's look at some of today's highlight:

  • The only medicine for suffering, crime, and all the other woes of mankind, is wisdom. -Thomas Huxley

  • To find what you seek in the road of life, the best proverb of all is that which says:"Leave no stone unturned." -Edward Bulwer Lytton

“We can't. We're afraid.”

“Come to the edge.”

And he pushed them.

And they flew.

-Guillaume Apollinaire, 1880-1918 , French Poet, Philosopher

  • Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals. -Henry Ford

  • Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?'
Actually, who are you not to be? - Marianne Williamson from her book Return To Love

  • The love we give away is the only love we keep.
    - Elbert Hubbard

Being truthful to yourself may be a freedom set-free for some of us. At times, even us ourselves are denying and witholding some truth to ourselves- intentionally, purposefully, so that we may live a day as a day, breathe a breath as a breath.

I was reading this article at oprah.com. As u can see from the link's name, its a Oprah Winfrey's web page. Personally, i find her life inspiring.

There is this article that named "The secrets you're not telling yourself" by Martha Beck.

Some abstracts from the article:

<"What we resist persists." The further we withdraw from difficult issues, the more likely they are to spill out. The only way to keep this from happening is to go spelunking in our own forbidden, forbidding depths. >

Consciousness holds only a small fraction of the things we know and feel. Beneath this tidy space lie the subconscious and unconscious levels of thought—cavern systems containing hidden labyrinths and spooky creatures. It's a place most of us avoid, pushing away dark thoughts in a process known as repression.

To figure out whether you may benefit from mental cave diving, take a quiz at http://www2.oprah.com/spiritself/omag/ss_omag_200503_repressionquiz.jhtml.
